GlaxoSmithKlein’s subsidiary company Stiefel has launched the latest addition to its Revaleskin skincare line, Illuminesse Brightening Complex. The new product has been made with Coffeeberry whole fruit extract as an anti-ageing treatment providing antioxidants to neutralize against free radical damage caused by UV exposure.
“Coffeeberry extract minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and strengthens the skin’s natural ability to regenerate itself,” said Jeanine Downie, MD. “It has one of the highest tested antioxidant capacities for protecting against daily environmental damage and UV stress,” she added.
According to the company, its Coffeeberry ingredient not only has the advantage of being naturally-derived, it is also one of the most powerful antioxidants known, a property that makes it highly effective in the treatment of fine line, sunspots and other photoaging-induced symptoms.
