Delhi Duty Free introduces ‘Shop n Collect’ service

Must Read

Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS), India’s largest duty free operator at T3 terminal, IGI Airport, Delhi has announced the launch of its new ‘Shop n Collect’ service for travelers who can now shop at departures and collect the goods from arrivals. Travelers can use this service by contacting the retail team members at DDFS departures highlighting the products they want and pay for the same. The goods will be securely stored, transferred to arrivals and after returning one can pick up the goods from ‘Shop n Collect’ counter at arrival shop. The free service allows the passengers to travel light and take advantage of limited period special offers.

Commenting on the occasion, a Delhi Duty Free Services spokesperson said: “A year of operations has given us the understanding that travelers usually don’t want to carry extra shopping bags throughout their journey and at arrivals they don’t have much time to explore. Keeping this in mind we have now launched the Shop-n-Collect service wherein travelers would be able to order their favorite duty free products from departures and can collect it later on their return at arrivals. The facility will not only provide the traveler the convenience of shopping but the benefit of great offers and also ensure a lot of time saving for them.”

Passengers can choose from more than 130 malts including the single malt whiskies from distilleries (some of which are now closed with only a couple of bottles left in the world), locally produced and international wines and champagnes, Cuban cigars, perfume and cosmetics brands like Dior, Chanel, Lancome, Armani, CK, Davidoff, L’Oreal, La Prairie, Givenchy and luxury fashion brands such as Hugo Boss, Mont Blanc, MCM, Samsonite Black and Swarovski. Tea, gift items, ready to eat food and spices can also be purchased from “India Bazaar” at DDFS.

Delhi Duty Free Services is a joint venture company between DIAL (Delhi International Airport Limited), IDFS (Indian Duty Free Services) and ARI (Aer Rianta International). It manages and operates the Duty Free Shops at Terminal 3, Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. DDFS is the largest duty free retail operator in India operating out of T3, the 6th largest single terminal building in terms of floor area.
