EVOK Mega Home Store, a home interior retail chain, has opened two stores in Bangalore. Spread across 12,000 and 11,000 sq.ft., the outlets are located at JP Nagar and Bellandur in Bangalore, respectively, offering over 16,000 lifestyle products ranging from home furniture, soft furnishings, home decor and accessories, modular kitchens, laminated floorings, bath fittings to lighting.

Speaking at the occasion, D K Jairath, COO, HHRPL said: “EVOK has the core vision of becoming the first choice partners to provide ‘complete home interior’s solution’ to its customers. I am pleased to announce the launch of our store at our next chosen destination in Karnataka at Bangalore. Here also, we come with the promise of extending our expertise and wide selection of lifestyle products to customers looking for ‘value for style’ pricing. With rigorous expansion plans set for the Southern markets, we are looking forward to setting new industry benchmarks in the home interiors retail sector.”

EVOK Mega Home Stores entered the organized home retail market of India in 2008 with an estimated investment of Rs 250 crore. The retail chain currently has a presence across cities of North India – New Delhi (West and South Delhi), Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad; Chandigarh and Lucknow and Maharashtra (Thane and Pune). With around additional 8-10 mega home stores planned and 9-10 super specialty stores operational by end of 2011, the company aims to achieve a turnover of Rs 400 crore by FY 2014.

The new stores will also provide ‘Design to Build’ interior design services to its customers in Karnataka. In-house designers at the showrooms will assist customers to visualise their ideal home spaces using 2D and 3D visualisation.

Hindware Home Retail Private Ltd (HHRPL) has been incorporated as a 100 percent subsidiary of HSIL to spearhead the Group’s vision to evolve into a total home solutions enterprise. The company has plans to roll out more such stores in cities like Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore and Maharashtra.
