Jhoomar, the multi-designer women wear store, has recently opened its first outlet in Kolkata at Allenby Road. Spread across 6,000 sq.ft., the showroom houses designer range and accessories by 29 Indian designers.
Speaking on the occasion, Prema Binaykia, Director, Jhoomar said: “We have tried to capture the essence of upcoming brands from the Indian fashion fraternity under one roof to provide abundant choice to the consumers in Kolkata at affordable prices. Our endeavor is to offer upcoming designers an opportunity to retail their fresh, modern, eclectic and edgy fashion sensibilities to the vibrant Kolkata market.”
Built on four levels, the store has a shop-in-shop concept, catering to the contemporary urban Indian woman. The retailer also offers silver and semi-precious jewelry, clutches, and bags. A range of festive wear, including sarees, salwar suits, and tunics, is also available at the store.
