Fashion retailer, Zara has opened its first store in South India at Bangalore. Spread across 17,779 sq.ft., the store offers a range of collection for men, women, children, teenagers, and kids.
With the launch of this store in Bangalore, Zara now has seven outlets in India. For its expansion in the country, Inditex Group, owner of Zara, has formed a joint venture with Trent Limited, the retail arm of the Tata Group, one of the country’s top industrial company.
Both the companies have also extended the joint venture agreement to open Massimo Dutti, Inditex’s another fashion concept, stores in India.
Zara is now present in 78 countries with more than 1,700 stores.
