Noida-based property developer Supertech is going to begin construction in January on North India’s biggest mixed-use development called Supernova with a total investment of Rs 2,000 crore.

The luxury property in Sector 94 of Noida just across the Delhi border will be spread across a built-up area of 5 million sq. ft. in 17 acres of land, out of which 1 million sq. ft. will be dedicated to retail.

Supernova will have five towers, amongst which “Shipra – The Iconic Tower” would be India’s tallest mixed-use development standing at 300 mts with 80 floors, Supertech officials said. The development will have residences, serviced apartments, hotels, shopping malls, office spaces and recreational centers.

“The project will take around four years to complete and we will be giving possession to customers in phases of 30 months, 36 months and 42 months,” said Supertech Chairman and Managing Director RK Arora.

According to company officials, the retail space at Supernova will have a special area set aside for luxury brands in a unique “mall in a mall” concept. “The retail space is so divided that the atrium passage around a central island allows customers to walk over to the luxury brands or the mass-market brands,” a company official said. “We are in talks with the best of the international brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci for opening stores at the luxury mall.”

The retail space at Supernova is spread across two levels which are going to house seven to eight anchors across the ground and first floors. The hypermarket is located on the lower ground floor. There will also be a ten-screen multiplex for which the company is in the final process of tying up with a prominent brand, Suptertech officials said.

The food court, spread across 50,000 sq.ft., will have 15 to 18 counters along with outdoor seating areas and terraces. Customers will have the option of getting served on the table.

The vanilla shops will range from 500 sq.ft. to 5,000 sq.ft., though the average size would be 1,000-1,200 sq.ft.
