In a glittering ceremony, Images Shoes & Accessories Awards took place today at the Mumbai Exhibition Center in Goregaon. Industry stalwarts were felicitated for their dedication and commitment to make the footwear and accessories industry what it is today. There were nine categories in the awards for Most Admired Single-Brand Footwear Retailer, Most Admired Multi-Brand Footwear Retailer for North, South, East and West, Most Admired Large Format Multi-Brand Retailer- National Chain, Most Admired Fashion Accessories Retailer, Most Admired Emerging Footwear Brand Retailer and Most Admired Footwear Retail Professional of the year. Woodland bagged the award for the Most Admired Single-brand Footwear Retailer of the Year while Bata was declared as the Most Admired Large Format Multi Brand Footwear Retailer of the Year – National Chain. Most Admired Fashion Accessories Retailer of the Year went to Da Milano. Rafique Malik, Managing Director, Metro Shoes was awarded the Most Admired Footwear Professional of the Year. Upcoming brands G Plus, Alberto Torresi amd Clark received accolades for being the Most Admired Footwear Brand of the Year. Venus Steps, Hollywood, Touristor and Lord’s were awarded as the Most Admired Footwear Retailer of the Year for North, South, East and West respectively.
