Kolkata-based kidswear store Littleshop has forayed into the e-retailing business with the launch of its online store called “Littleshop.in.”
Commenting on the move, Shiv Daswani, Owner, Little Shop, said: “This is the next level for us. Nine years ago, we took the jump from traditional to modern retailing and now we are taking modern retail into every Indian home.” He also stated that the online initiative was being worked on for the last six months driven by the likes and dislikes of the customers.
“One can buy everything from baby products and infant necessities to kids’ clothes, toys, stationery, cots, bassinets, and everything else from our single website. If you need a safety ,pin we deliver it to your home,” he added.
Little Shop has seven stores in Kolkata. It also has a 10,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Kolkata that stocks baby products.
