Multiplex operator PVR Cinemas has opened its first multiplex in Uttarakhand at Pacific mall, Dehradun. The four-screen multiplex has an area of 30,000 sq.ft. with a seating capacity of 731. PVR now has 408 screens in 95 cinemas spread across 39 cities in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Gautam Dutta, COO, PVR, said: “We feel extremely happy to mark the debut of PVR multiplex in one of the most attractive tourist destinations of India, Dehradun. Keeping into consideration, the growing trend of watching movies as a favorable entertainment activity, we aim to bring the finest multiplex in the city to offer quality cinema experience to the cinema goers. With this, we intend to offer an unmatched movie experience to the audience in Uttarakhand.”

According to the company offiials, the PVR multiplex has F&B options, 2K Digital projection, 7.1 surround sound, 3D enabled screens and JBL speakers, recliner and prime seats.
