International fashion retailer Zara is set to open its new store at The North Country Mall, Mohali Punjab. Zara, the latest addition to the anchor line up at the Mohali mall, joins the list of tenants such as Reliance Market, Marks &Spencer, Lifestyle, Home Centre, Central, PVR cinema, Decathlon, Store99, Max, Pantaloon.
Developed by Gumberg India, a two million sq. ft. mixed-use development opened its doors on February 14, 2014 with launch of Reliance Market and PVR Cinemas.
Commenting on the development, B. Anantharaman, MD and CEO, Gumberg India said: “The customer is at the heart of our business model and we are delighted to bring an iconic brand like Zara into our retail offering. We look forward to partnering with them in our future projects PAN India.”
The next phase of launch will witness the opening of anchors such as Lifestyle, Home Center, Fun City, Marks & Spencer, Store 99 and a host of vanilla stores followed by Decathlon, Central and others in phase III.
Gumberg India is part of 85 year old US-based global real estate development company J.J. Gumberg Co. The North Country Mall is its first project outside of the United States.
