Packaged fruit juice and beverage maker Dabur India has announced the expansion of its packaged food business with the launch of 100 percent natural Tender Coconut Water under the Real Activ brand. The company claims that Réal Activ Tender Coconut Water is rich in minerals, totally pure and 100 percent natural with no added sugar and preservatives.
Announcing the launch, Praveen Jaipuriar, Category Head – Foods, Dabur India, said: “Coconut is nature’s miracle fruit. The health benefits of coconut water are numerous. It has natural hydrating qualities and is a great source of nutrients. Naturally rich in minerals and electrolytes, coconut water recharges and detoxifies you. Demand for Coconut water is growing by the day as more and more consumers are beginning to realise the endless benefits of natural coconut water. Dabur has always been known for offering natural, healthy products that provide wholesome nutrition. With the launch of Real Activ Coconut Water, we are further expanding our fruit-based beverages category to give our consumers more choice to make their modern hectic lifestyle healthier.”
The new Real Activ Coconut water will be available in 200 ml bottle priced at Rs 35. According to the company officials, Dabur will soon be executing a 360-degree marketing campaign to promote the product. This will include outdoor advertising, television and print campaigns and social media marketing.
Dabur has been operating the 100 percent fruit juice market with its brand Real Activ, which offers a range of fruit and vegetable juices.
