Kolkata-based kidswear manufacturer, Burman Fashions has chalk out an agreesive expansion plan for its brand, Johny Johny Yes Papa (JJYP). According to the company, they have inked a phase-wise expansion strategy for the current fiscal.
The brand would be expanding its retail network in the domestic market through exclusive dealers and channel partners. During its first-phase of expansion, they are looking at states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana and Uttaranchal. In its second-phase they would target cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Trivandrum. Also, the eastern region and north east markets are on radar.
“We are looking at expansion at a fast pace and have hired specialised consultants to increase efficiency in production and optimise the production cycle,” shared Vivek Burman, MD, Burman Fashions to Images Business of Fashion.
Launched in 2004, JJYP offers a wide range of designs in infant and kids wear. The company has a huge distribution network with manufacturing facility in Kolkata and also exports to Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia and UAE, and Algeria.
