Studio Profile boasts of eight unisex salons in Chennai and one in Pondicherry. A variety of luxury hair and beauty services cater to a wide spectrum of clients who enjoy the intimate ambience of the salons coupled with personalised and professional service. With an aim to stimulate, inspire and build confidence in prospective hair stylists and beauty therapists, Studio Profile Academy was established in 2003. Mita Banker and Jennifer Thomas, co-owners, have a passion for teaching and are actively involved in the churning out of some of the best hairstylists and beauticians in the industry.
The academy has a strong, dedicated team of educators who are responsible for imparting the necessary knowledge and skills to students, together with personal motivation. This is achieved by a sound curriculum and innovative techniques. Mita and Jennifer are proud to acknowledge their student’s achievements, accomplishments and professional placement in top hair salons and cosmetic companies across the country and abroad.
Both Jennifer and Mita have trained internationally, have many years of experience in their respective fields and are noted for their high level of professionalism. Together they bring cutting-edge technology in hair cutting, colouring, styling, beauty therapy, spa therapy and make-up to the salons. They are backed by a large creative team of enthusiastic hairstylists and beauticians who maintain a high standard of customer service. The staff is trained regularly in India and abroad so that Studio Profile is always abreast of current trends and latest techniques.
The academy is currently in collaboration with Schwarzkopf Professional. Their training programmes impart invaluable skills and techniques with necessary hands-on learning, which is the key to personal motivation and career success.
