Wal-Mart India has rolled out its B2B e-commerce platform for Hyderabad and Lucknow, according to a leading daily. The online store, bestpricewholesale.co.in, has been launched for members of Best Price modern wholesale stores in the respective cities, offering spiacial as well as similar products.
Customers in the adjacent 40 km radius can order from the website and collect the products from a Best Price Modern Wholesale store or get them delivered. Apart from online door-step delivery, Wal-Mart will also have the online payment facility through a payment gateway.
By January, the US-based retailer will extend its online service to other cities having Wal-Mart’s stores. At present, Wal-Mart runs 20 cash-and-carry stores in the country. The company had made announcements to open 50 wholesale stores in around five years in April.
