Apparently, Flipkart has made history by registering sales worth Rs.600 crore in just 10 hours as media sources have reported.
The said reason behind such mammoth selling is ongoing discount offers running on portal.
In a recent media interaction the company has quoted that it sold goods worth $100 million (almost Rs 1 crore every minute) within 10 hours and its site recorded one billion hits. This was unprecedented. It is an historic day for ecommerceHowever, many customers had to cancel the orders due to erroneous price listing and they were taking their anger against portal at various social media platforms.
