In one sentence, denim wear is going to get a total makeover. Denim which is related naturally to youth, casualness and rebel outlook, is going to join the glamour factory too. The metamorphosis from casual to glam has been aided by Fall Winter’s dominant trends. Ingene Insights team suggests that the most dominant traits are distressed denims, patched up denims, tie and dye wash effect and an array of embellishment in metallic chains, studs and stones with quilting effect.
This season another noteworthy design element is two tone design, using denim with another coloured material or different coloured denim, most generically used are blue and black. From the silhouette level the upcoming season is added bohemian nature, adding loose-fit wide leg, voluminous structure to jump-suit mania. There will be curve enhancing silhouette; precisely positioned decoration in embroidery, jacquard, laser printing and herringbone weaves. As winter looms around with festive season, denim will also reflect darker hues, metallic shine and crafty intelligence.
