Nykaa.com, India’s premier one-stop ecommerce destination for beauty products presented a unique Indian consumer’s choice beauty awards 2015 , held on 11 February in Mumbai. The invitees included celebrities, captains of industry, beauty and fashion icons. For one month, 15,000 customers from all over the country participated in the online contest to choose India’s favourite beauty products in more than 35 products categories.
The company founded by former Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Capital, Investment Banking, Falguni Nayar is aiming to reach 1.5 million customers by December 2015. Announcing the Awards, Falguni Nayar, Founder and CEO said, “Nykaa is thrilled to be hosting the first-ever Nykaa.com Femina Beauty Awards, where we have celebrated the top products and brands. It’s the first award across categories to have public voting at this scale with over 15,000 votes in from consumers.”
Nykaa will be soon launching its own line of kohl, lipsticks, perfume and make-up
