This year we wanted to spread the message on a national level and we are proud to associate with celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar to celebrate World Health Day.”
“It is important to spread awareness about a very important and institutional topic i.e. ‘Food Safety’ thus we have decided to spread awareness at more than 150 point of sales in India. At Being Human, it is our endeavor to support the twin causes of education and healthcare and we will always bring out new ways of making such days special,” he adds.
According to World Health Organization’s estimates, two million deaths occur every year from contaminated food or drinking water. The idea behind this initiative is to educate people about food safety and prevention from diseases caused by unsafe food containing harmful bacteria, viruses and chemicals.
“Most of the time people are unaware of little changes that will keep them healthy and less prone to illness and diseases. The aim behind associating with Being Human Clothing is to spread awareness about food safety and educating people about hazards of unsafe food. I am very glad to be a part of this,” Diwekar states.
Being Human will support the day by reaching out to consumers through the brand’s social media channels, website and in-store communication.
