Babycare products’ manufacturer JL Morison is planning to extend its product offering with the launch of diapers, toiletries and apparel this fiscal to tap the fast growing baby care market.
“We are planning to launch products like thermometer, diapers and apparel… The expansion plans are huge because the baby market is growing and we see great opportunity here,” JL Morison Promoter Director Sakshi Mody told PTI.”
These products are in our plan and we are planning to launch these products this financial year,” she added.At present, JL Morison’s product range includes breast pumps, feeding bottles, sipper utensils, toothbrushes, soap, wipe and talc. The company has been registering a YoY growth of 25 per cent for the past three years, according to Mody.”
Mody said the company is also working on expanding its distribution network. At present, the company sells its products through 400 distributors across the country. The company is also in the process of setting up a new manufacturing facility in Kolkata to manufacture feeding bottles and sippers, among other products.
