Arvind partners with Shoppers Stop for SIS format for The Children’s Place

Arvind Lifestyle Brands Limited has partnered with department store chain Shoppers Stop for the launch of the shop-in-shop format of The Children’s Place (TCP).
Brought to India by Arvind Lifestyle Brands Ltd, TCP made its India debut with its first 2,500 sq ft store in Bengaluru’s Orion Mall last week.
The shop-in-shop will be located at the Shoppers Stop store in Juhu, Mumbai, spread over 620 sq feet. The store will retail kids clothing and accessories for girls and boys for 0-14 years. It is India’s first shop-in-shop format of America’s largest kids’ speciality retailer
“We are keen to maximise our market share using a multichannel approach for The Children’s place in India. The shop-in-shop is a global first for us and is an important part of our expansion strategy to support our standalone store presence. With Arvind and Shoppers Stop as our partners in India, we are confident that The Children’s Place will scale new heights in the kids’ fashion industry in the country,” Adrienne Gernand, Sr. Vice President International, The Children’s Place, Inc., said in an official statement.

Founded in 1969, The Children’s Place is the largest pure-play children speciality apparel retailer in North America, offering fashionable, high quality and head to toe outfits at great prices. Internationally, the chain has rapidly grown to 79 stores in 10 countries.
