Swedish fashion retail giant H&M will on Saturday open its second store in India; the second outlet will be bigger than the 25,000 sq.ft maiden store at Select Citywalk mall, New Delhi.
The fast fashion chain’s second store will open at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, in south-west Delhi, covering an area of 28,000 sq ft on three floors.
An overnight entertainment event, which will feature a dance floor, guitarists and fun for customers, is being planned on the night prior to the launch, according to a source.
“We are excited to have one of the best international fashion retail brands H&M in our mall. This is part of our commitment to offer International and domestic premium quality brands to our customers under one roof. We will continue to bring best quality brands in the future as well,” Arjun Gehlot, director, Ambience Malls, said in a statement.
As part of its plans to celebrate the store opening, H&M will offer gift cards of Rs.7,000 to its first seven customers, gift cards of Rs 700 to the next 300 customers and a limited edition H&M India tote bag on the opening day.
