Snapdeal has announced the launch of ‘Professional Services Panel’ on its site to support its growing sellers ecosystem.
The panel will reportedly provide an easy access to services like tax registration, photography, cataloguing, business consulting and outsourcing support from verified service providers to Snapdeal sellers. The sellers will also be able to shortlist service providers on the basis of location, price range and rating, and later rate them on a scale of 1 to 5.
“At Snapdeal, we are committed to create life changing experiences for more than 1 million sellers by 2017. This new panel will enable small and medium sized sellers to grow their businesses by accessing professional services like photography, cataloguing, etc. with easy price-quality comparison. The functionality of the panel is designed to meet all kinds of seller requirements and has been developed basis their extensive feedback. We are confident that the services panel will lead to more sellers joining our platform, making the process of selling online absolutely hassle free,” Vishal Chadha, senior vice president, market development, Snapdeal said.
To ensure authenticity and quality of services, Snapdeal will pre-screen all the listed vendors. Presently, Snapdeal claims to have 900 service providers listed on the Professional Services platform from all across the country.
Recently, Snapdeal has also launched a fashion forecasting service for sellers, Snaptrends, to give them access to fashion intelligence and assist them to produce commercially viable apparel collections. In September this year. In September this year, it has also launched SD Advisor Programme for sellers, under which sellersl get a personal advisor to assist them in business management on the platform.
