Must Read

Delhi-based fashion styling and rental platform Stage3 has reportedly raised an undisclosed amount in angel funding from a clutch of investors.
Former AOL executive Nisha Sharma, Dalmia Bharat Group’s Puneet Dalmia and Stanford University professor Balaji Prabhakar have invested in this round, Sabena Puri, co-founder and CEO of STAGE 3, told Techcircle.in.
The startup will use the raised capital to expand its operations and strengthen its back end technology.
The startup, which was launched last month, allows women to rent a style from leading designers for Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 per evening. Users can keep the garments for up to eight days. STAGE 3 targets women between the ages of 21 and 35 who are looking to rent dresses for events such as wedding.
The company aims at creating an ecosystem of designers, stylists, logistics partners and customer support professionals that are leveraging technology to deliver personalised fashion experiences that can be rented.
“Our members can play dress up with curated, authentic outfits from top designers that have been paired with accessories by our in-house styling team. Our mission is to make higher end outfits accessible to our members and leverage technology to help them choose what would look best on them for different occasions on their social calendar,” Sabena Puri, co-founder & CEO of Stage3, was quoted as saying.
