NEW DELHI: Direct selling firm Avon India on Wednesday said it has appointed Rahul Shanker as its new managing director. Shanker joined Avon in 2013 as director for sales and strategy and succeeds outgoing managing director Romulus Sirbu. A statement issued by Avon said that Sirbu is moving to head Avon Malaysia. The US$8 billion Avon sells cosmetics and beauty products, though in India it remains a small player.
