McDonald's open 1500 outlets in China, S Korea, HK

McDonald’s Corp is on a global turn around spree, it is planning to open 1500 new outlets in China, South Korea, and Hong Kong as they are faster growing markets.

McDonald’s Corp, based in Oak Brook, Illinois, is rebuilding its business under CEO Steve Easterbrook. Earlier it failed in keeping up the changing tastes.

It was also reported that the number of visitors had also subsequently reduced.

Easterbrook sees tremendous scope in the Asian market as it represents a blend of their global quality standards with local understanding. These new outlets will enable the company to expedite their growth and improve the business.

McDonald’s will give the local managers more power to take the decisions as and when to respond to the Asian customers.
