Co-Head, Consumer Industries & Retail Products Practice – India and SE Asia, A T Kearney, Abhishek Malhotra, presented a report on the buying habits of the new generation in shopping centres, and how to build malls that will get the consumer to spend.
The report was presented at the India Shopping Centre Forum, 2016, being held in Mumbai. It outlined the differences between the shopping behaviours of Generations X and Y, the shopping patterns of customers in major metros versus small towns, their expectation from retail centres and steps for effective marketing and communications keeping in mind the always-connected, digital consumer.
