Beauty and wellness firm VLCC Health Care has appointed Syed Safawi as managing director and group chief executive of the company.
“Sandeep Ahuja, who has been serving as MD of the company, will take on a new role within the group,” VLCC, the holding company of the VLCC Group, said in a statement.
“As VLCC starts a new chapter, the board and I are confident that Syed will lead the company successfully into its next phase of global growth. His track record and value system make him an ideal choice to lead VLCC to a value unlocking event,” said Vandana Luthra, Vice Chairperson, VLCC Group.
Safawi joins VLCC from Viom Networks (now known as ATC Telecom Infrastructure Pvt Ltd), where he served as CEO. He has also worked with companies such as Reliance Communications Ltd and Coca-Cola in senior leadership roles.
