Chinese internet and technology conglomerate LeEco has announced that Le Max 2 (32 GB) will now be available at Rs 17,999 instead of its regular price of Rs 22,999.
The Le Max 2 device comes with a 5.7 inch display running at 2560×1440 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4/6 GB RAM with 32/64 GB on board memory.
LeMall is also offering limited period additional discount coupon of Rs 1,000 to the first 2000 customers on September 30, a day prior to the sale.
The coupons can be availed on purchase of Le Max 2, during the sale between October 1 to October 6 on LeMall.com.
LeEco has also partnered Snapdeal and Amazon to sell its products on the two e-commerce platforms from October, a move that will help the Chinese tech major further strengthen its online sales in India.
“We will start with selling our LeEco Max 2 on Snapdeal and Amazon as part of their festival sale. This will give us access to a wider market,” COO, LeEco Smart Electronics Business, Atul Jain said in an official statement.
LeEco’s rivals Xiaomi and Motorola also had entered the Indian market in partnership with Flipkart. Later, these brands too ended the exclusivity and launched their range of devices across other e-commerce portals.
LeEco is also bullish on offline retail. “We are already present in 3,000-plus stores and by end of October, this number will double. We will have a healthy mix of online and offline sales going ahead,” Jain said.
Talking about the festive season, Atul Jain said he expects the company’s business to be double than the usual numbers.
The company has also extended its content partnership and partnered with Hungama, which will provide users of LeEco smartphones free access to a library of 3.5 million songs for a year.
