Sanjay Sethi is the Co-founder and CEO at ShopClues.com. He is highly regarded in the industry as a product visionary and a marketplace expert with proficiency in building multi-faceted environments in the field of e-commerce.
As the Co-founder of the company, Sethi aims to deliver a pleasurable shopping experience for consumers through the advanced and user-friendly online platform.
He has enjoyed a fruitful career of over 20 years in the Internet product space, including e-commerce marketplaces, online payments operations and trade logistics.
Prior to his appointment as the CEO, Sethi served as the Vice President (Products) in ShopClues since the company’s inception in July 2011. In his previous position, Sanjay’s role involved providing necessary tools and processes essential to produce and operate an efficient online marketplace.
Before co-founding India’s first and now largest managed marketplace, Sethi served as the Global Product Head for Shipping and Logistics, Payments and Billing at eBay Inc. in Silicon Valley. He has also worked with other reputed companies including IIS Infotech, HCL Perot System, Tradebeam and Steel Authority of India Limited.
Sethi has been felicitated with a number of awards and honours for his entrepreneurial achievements such as the “Distinguished Alumni Award” at the IIT-BHU Alumni Excellence Awards Ceremony. He has also held the CEO of the Year award with Radhika Ghai Aggarwal at CEO Awards 2016.
An Alumnus of Banaras Hindu University, Sethi holds a B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He further went on to pursue a course in Software Technology from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi).
