FMCG to cigarette major ITC is set to appoint Sanjiv Puri, one of its Executive Directors, as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as the company proposed his name to the nomination and compensation committee.
The committee will meet on Friday to consider his name and then recommend him as CEO to the company’s board.
According to a regulatory filing, Puri is expected to take office from February 5.
Puri, a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, joined ITC in 1986
