Consumer electronics firm Videocon has appointed Rajesh Rathi as Business Head.
Rathi, who has been associated with Videocon for over eight years, was earlier national head and responsible for the group’s consumer durable sales across India, the company said in a statement.
Chairman, Videocon Industries, Venugopal N Dhoot said: “His expertise in planning, market strategy, analyses and product management will be invaluable to the company, going forward.”
Rathi has also been heading the company’s other business verticals, including strategic planning, product management, business alliances and distribution management.
He started his career with Videocon before moving on to TCL and then came back to head its all-India sales division.
He has also worked with LG Electronics and Electrolux.
