New Delhi: Deerika Hypermarket has launched its second hypermarket at the Pacific Premium Outlets in Jasola.
The USP of the hypermarket is that it offers Smart Cart and Scan and Mobile Pay through its App that helps save time during checkouts. “We conducted a survey where we found that 45% of customers complained about joining long queues just to make bill payments at retail stores,” Akash Anand, managing director, Deerika Retail.
Deerika began its journey in 2020 with its first Hypermarket in Sector 51, Gurugram. The hypermarket gives discounts on all products, including grocery, fresh produce, utensils, crockery, home appliances and clothing for men, women and children.
“Our success can be gauged by the fact that since our inception we have witnessed 30% year-on-year business growth. From just one Store in 2020, we currently have five stores across India. 12 stores will go live in the next two months. We will open 25 more stores by 2023, in addition to our ever-increasing online presence,” added Anand.
