DawnTown is backed by investments from the movie star Sanjay Dutt, Netsurf chief managing director Sujit Jain, MyLab founders and a few angel investors
Mumbai: Sneakers and streetwear retailer DawnTown launched its first premium sneakers store at Bandra in Mumbai on 4 March 2023. The 1,800 sq. ft. store will have DawnTown’s exclusive collection of sneakers and streetwear from premium brands like Air Jordan, Yeezy, Adidas, Off-white, Fear of God, Drew House and Nike among others. It will also have an in-house café to enhance its customer’s shopping experience.
DawnTown is a resale platform for authentic and hyped sneakers and apparel. The brand is backed by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt; Sujit Jain, chairman and managing director, Netsurf Communications Pvt. Ltd.; MyLab founders and a few angel investors. It plans to open multiple stores in multiple cities in India and globally and enhance the offline experience for its consumers.
“I am so thrilled and excited to attach my name to a whole range that represents my love for sneakers. We plan to go wild with it and create ground-breaking products together,” said actor Sanjay Dutt about his association.

“With this investment, our major goal would be to set up our flagship store in Pali Hill, Mumbai, curate our inventory, enhance the experience for the consumer and provide sellers a platform to sell its sneakers while getting the fastest payout,” added DawnTown founders Risheek Agarwal and Kushagra Patwari.
Founded in March 2021 DawnTown aims to provide the consumer with a seamless experience while shopping for their favourite sneakers and streetwear and provide them with a trusted platform for all their hype needs. The goal is to build a community for sneakerheads and fashion enthusiasts.
