Bengaluru: Menswear brand Damensch opened its 5th outlet in Bengaluru at Rajarajeshwari Nagara, near Mysore Road, a company representative announced in a LinkedIn post.
“Bengaluru is now dotted with five brand stores and another one lined up soon. In the coming fiscal year, we shall take the brand to more cities across the country,” said Ashmeer Sayyed, chief retail officer at Damensch in a LinkedIn post.
The brand opened its first brick-and-mortar outlet at Mantri Square Mall, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru in 2022. The other three Damensch stores are located at Koramangala 4th Block, Jayanagar and Shanthala Nagar. Damensch aims to expand to 100 retail stores in metropolitan cities by the end of 2023 and also expects offline business to contribute Rs 500 crore by 2027, to the overall revenue.
Headquartered in Bengaluru, Damensch was founded in 2018 by Anurag Saboo and Gaurav Pushkar as a men’s innerwear brand. In 2021, the brand forayed into the outerwear category.
In February 2022, the company raised $16.4 million in Series-B funding from A91 Partners along with the participation of existing investors such as Saama Capital, Matrix Partners and Whiteboard Capital.
