With two new stores in the city, Intune reaches the milestone of 10 stores across the country
Bengaluru: Department store chain Shoppers Stop has opened the 10th outlet of its value fashion format Intune in the country located at Ahmedabad, a company official wrote on social media on Monday.
This marks the retailer’s entry into the city, with the launch of its two new stores at Shyamal Cross Road and Science City.
“Best start to a new year is when you hit milestones on New Year’s eve itself. Happy to enter 2024 with the milestone of 10 Intune stores and a presence across 6 cities – we proudly enter Ahmedabad today with our stores in Shyamal Cross Roads and Science City,” said Devang Parikh, business head at Intune in a LinkedIn post while sharing images of the new stores.
“Entering 2024 with an endeavour to keep coming closer with a fast-expanding store network,” he added.
Intune caters to young families with clothing and accessories at prices starting at Rs 199.
The format debuted in June with two stores in Hyderabad and a store in Mumbai on a trial basis. The company plans to open about two dozen Intune outlets in the current fiscal year ending March 2024, according to a previous press release.
Shoppers Stop Ltd. was established in 1991 and currently has more than 102 department stores in 52 cities, 7 premium home concept stores under the name Home Stop, and over 89 speciality beauty stores including M.A.C, Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Jo Malone, Too Faced, SS Beauty, 22 airport doors and 10 Intune stores.
