Bengaluru: Clothing and accessories retailer American Eagle has launched its new store in Kerala, an industry official wrote on social media. The store is located at Lulu Mall, Akkulam Bridge, Thiruvananthapuram.
“Stretching our international portfolio” – American Eagle- the unisex American casual brand now Open at Lulu Mall, Thiruvananthapuram,” said Anuja Shajahan, assistant manager- leasing at LuLu Mall in a LinkedIn post while sharing image of the new store.
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. (ABFRL) entered into a multi‐store retail and e-commerce licensing agreement with American Eagle Outfitters Inc. in August 2017. The company made its debut into the Indian market in June 2018 with its first store in DLF Mall of India, Noida.
Headquartered in Pennsylvania, American Eagle is a global retailer offering clothing, accessories, and personal care products. The company was founded in 1977 by brothers Jerry and Mark Silverman as a subsidiary of Retail Ventures Inc., a holding company operating retail stores.
Currently, American Eagle operates over 1,000 stores in the US, Canada, Mexico, China, and Hong Kong, and ships to more than 85 countries worldwide.
