Before Snitch, Ashtekar was working with Rare Rabbit
New Delhi: Bengaluru-based fast-fashion clothing brand Snitch has appointed Mayur Ashtekar as the lead for business development and offline expansion, a social media post by the company said on Monday.
“We are thrilled to share that Mayur Ashtekar has joined our incredible team at Snitch as the lead for business development and offline expansion. His wealth of expertise and strategic vision is set to elevate our growth to new heights,” said Snitch in a LinkedIn post.
“We’re excited to embark on this journey together and create impactful successes,” the company added.
According to the details of his LinkedIn profile, Ashtekar was working with the clothing brand Rare Rabbit as the business development manager. His experience includes working with companies like Ruosh, iSN Group and Big Bazaar.
Founded by Siddharth Dungarwal, Snitch was featured in the second season of Shark Tank India. The company offers products that align with the latest trends in fast fashion.
The company has acquired about 1.5 million customers, and the target is to reach 25 million plus consumers in the next four years. In addition, it also plans an IPO by Financial Year (FY)29 according to PTI.
Furthermore, In December, Snitch also raised Rs 110 crore in a funding round led by SWC Global and IvyCap Ventures. The fund was used to hire top talent and enhance its technology infrastructure. Snitch, which achieved a turnover of over Rs 100 crore in FY23, is planning to expand further by opening over 100 offline stores across the country in the next 4-5 years. The company opened its first physical store in Bengaluru in November last year.
