Bengaluru: Reliance Retail’s experiential supermarket chain Fresh Signature opened its latest flagship store in Mumbai, the 141st outlet of the high-end chain for the country’s largest retailer, the company said in a press release on Monday. The new store is spread over 9,000 sq. ft. and is situated at Infiniti Mall, Oshiwara, Andheri West, Mumbai.
Fresh Signature stores features 17 live food stations including fresh dairy, ethnic sweets, zero waste organic zone, Turkish delights, patisserie, premium dry fruits and nuts, ethnic snacks, live khakra, fudge and chikki, ice-cream sundae parlor, noodle bar, health café, artisanal honey bar and more.
The pastry chef Pooja Dhingra and Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has graced the occasion of opening the store, the release said.
Reliance Retail currently operates 141 Fresh Signature stores, each spanning 3,000–5,000 sq. ft. of retail area, across the country. The brand offers an assortment of everyday grocery essentials, chocolates and confectionaries, processed food, juices and beverages, home and personal care products, along with international cuisines ingredients and local snacks.
The grocery retail chain is planning to expand to other locations in the coming months, the release added.
Reliance Retail Ltd is a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd (RRVL), the holding company of all the retail companies under Reliance Industries Ltd. RRL and other subsidiaries and affiliates of RRVL, operate an integrated omni-channel network of over 18,650 stores and digital commerce platforms.
RRVL reported a net profit of Rs 3,165 crore and a revenue of Rs 74,373 crore for the third quarter of the financial year (FY) 2023-2024 ended in December 2023. Read more about it here.
