Bengaluru: Department store chain Shoppers Stop’s value fashion format Intune has launched its three outlets across South India in a single day, a company official wrote on social media.

Two outlets are situated in Karnataka and one in Telangana, bringing the total store count to 16.

“We started our Intune journey nine months back by launching two stores on the same day – at the time, it felt like a feat we would never manage. But we did. And now, nine months and multiple stores later, we launch three stores on the same day,” said Devang Parikh, business head of Intune in a LinkedIn post while sharing images of the new stores.

Intune’s 14th store finds its home at GT Mall in Bengaluru, followed by the 15th store at Elements Mall, in Bengaluru, and the 16th store at Sarath Capital City in Hyderabad.

“We are getting bigger by the day, which gives me more confidence that those of you who haven’t experienced us so far, will soon do so. Heartfelt gratitude to the team that’ll soon make me take credit for launching 4/5 stores on the same day,” added Parikh.

Intune caters to young families with clothing and accessories at prices starting at Rs 199.

The format debuted in June with two stores in Hyderabad and a store in Mumbai on a trial basis. The company plans to open about two dozen Intune outlets in the current fiscal year ending March 2024, according to a previous press release.

Shoppers Stop Ltd. was established in 1991 by property developer K Raheja Corp with its first store in Andheri, Mumbai. Today, the company operates over 106 department stores in more than 56 cities, over 7 premium home concept stores, 88 speciality beauty stores of M.A.C, Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Jo Malone, Too Faced, SSBeauty, and 23 airport doors and 16 Intune stores.
