Safexpress to set up 32 Logistics Parks

Logistics firm, Safexpress  has unveiled plans to set up 32 Logistics facilities at major industrial hubs across India. The company disclosed this information at the launch of a  state-of-the art logistics park in Udaipur, following the set up of two other Parks in Faridabad and Dhule.
Spanning over an area of 4500 sq feet,the Udaipur logistics park is located on National Highway No-8.
Speaking about the launch, Pawan Jain, CMD, Safexpress said, “Udaipur, also known as the ‘Venice of East’, is a commercial hub of the world for handicrafts and marble mining. The important industrial minerals of the place are marble, emerald, lime stone and calcite, the transportation of which is very difficult. Udaipur holds vital importance due to its focal location.”
“This Logistics Park will be operational 24×7, 365 days in a year to provide time-definite deliveries. Due to our non-stop operations, we will be providing the fastest transit time for deliveries all across India to over 610 destinations from Udaipur, ” he added.
Jain further highlighted the fact that Supply chain & logistics has a very vital role to play in the growth of numerous industries spread across India. In order to provide world-class warehousing and logistics infrastructure to large number of industries in the Rajasthan region, this ultra-modern facility at Udaipur has been set up, which will serve as a trans-shipment hub as well as a warehousing facility. Therefore, this Logistics Park will bridge the infrastructure gaps and serve the supply chain & logistics requirements of the entire region.
“This facility has a column-less span of over 90 feet and enables loading/unloading of several vehicles simultaneously and a floor load capacity of six metric tonnes per square metre and a truck docking area width of over 40 feet. Moreover, to make our Logistics Park eco-friendly, we have taken special go-green initiatives by investing in rainwater harvesting and developing special green zones, ” he informed.
