Forevermark, part of the De Beers family of companies, will consolidate its longstanding relationship with haute couture designer Tarun Tahiliani for a second year running, at the Bridal Couture Exposition. This marks another step in the celebration of the alliance of wedding fervour and haute couture.

The exposition will showcase an exquisite collection of limited edition items where each ornament has been individually selected for Tarun Tahiliani’s exhibition. This unique collection will be showcased at DLF Emporio, New Delhi from July 22-25, 2010 and will be brought to Mumbai from August 5-10, 2010.

Tahiliani commented, “Haute couture and precious jewellery have been closely associated for centuries. So it goes without saying that this is a perfect match.”

“Jewellery plays a significant role in every bride’s journey, especially diamonds for their timelessness and beauty. Forevermark is very excited to showcase the best of bridal jewellery in partnership with Tarun Tahiliani who is every bride’s dream couturier” says Binita Cooper, managing director of Forevermark.

On display will be a selection of stunning pieces such as `Almas` by Mona Mehta, part of The Forevermark Precious Collection. Her design reflects traditional aesthetics and opulence, showcasing the Indian traditions to the world. This piece winds round the hand like an exquisite floral creeper that leads to a detachable ring featuring a 7.03 carat Forevermark diamond surrounded by taviz, a type of diamond traditionally work by Indian royalty. In all, this piece contains 2, 468 diamonds weighing 65.9 carats.

Pluczenik, one of the world’s leading diamond and jewellery companies, will be showcasing heirlooms specially created for the Indian bride.  These exquisite pieces will be shown for the very first time in India, including  `Power Precious` designed by Barney Cheng and `Majestic Beauty Fan` designed by Cindy Chao.

The pieces on display will be a selection of jewellery crafted with Forevermark diamonds from Rosy Blue and designed by Orra.
