Hairstylist Amzadd Habib organized a marathon 24 hour non-stop hairstyling and coloring session on August 15 at the Amzadd Habib Academy in South Extension, New Delhi.
Funds from the event, called ‘Salute to the Nation’ are being directed to create free hairstyling training sessions for sex workers.
Amzad Habib is the son of well known hairstylist Habib Ahmed.
Last year, the Amzadd Habib academy held a similar event in November to raise funds for the rehabilitatition of Tihar jail inmates. The event was held inside the jail in association with the Tihar jail administration to provide training to inmates on hair and beauty.
