Govind Shrikhande, who was earlier the Customer Care Associate, President and CEO, Shoppers Stop Ltd, has assumed his new role as the Managing Director of the multi-brand retail chain. In his nine-plus years of association with Shoppers Stop, Shrikhande has managed several roles, growing tremendously within the company. He started his journey with the company as Vice-President, Buying and Merchandising in 2001. He then became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2004, CEO in 2006 and President and CEO in 2009.
