Coral lips and voluminous hair was a big trend at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival held in Cannes, France from May 12 to 23.
Indian beauties included Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Mallika Sherawat giving Hollywood heroines Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts, Evangeline Lilly, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, Kate Beckinsale, Naomi Watts, Michelle Williams, Naomi Campbell a run for their money.
Updos were a big hit. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sizzled on the red carpet with pink cheeks and lips with a hint of gloss and voluminous hair that caught the imagination of critics all over – commenting on her terrible hair style Kate Beckinsale`s voluminous beehive style on the other hand was a huge success. It was created with a lot of back combing, volume at the roots and a French pleat-style roll at the back.
Deepika Padukone walked the red carpet with a low bun at the nape of her neck, her mouth highlighted with chocolate brown.
Mexican actress Salma Hayek flaunted her bob nicely blow dried with a side parting, complemented by eyes with gold and nude lips. Salome Stevinin sported a center parting with messy blonde locks tonged into loose spiralling waves swept back from her face. Fresh, creamy make-up and a flash of red lipstick completed her look.
