Reliance Retail has turned on the heat by rolling out around 9 Reliance Fresh stores in the NCR region. Yesterday the company also launched seven Reliance Fresh outlets in Andhra Pradesh.
The company has rolled out four stores in Vijaywada and three stores in Guntur. All these stores on an average have a retail space of 2,300 sq.ft. In the National Capital Region the company will be rolling out nine Reliance Fresh stores, which will be spread out in Ghaziabad (4), Greater Noida (2), Noida (1), Faridabad (1) and Gurgaon (1).
These stores will have a total retail space of about 2,500 to 3,000 sq.ft. These stores will offer fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, dairy products and grocery. The company has plans to open 22 such outlets in the NCR region by the end of 2007.
The new in-store UPI payment facility is currently live in more than 200 Reliance Retail stores in Mumbai across formats, including Reliance Fresh, Reliance Smart, Reliance Digital, Reliance Trends and Reliance Footprint
