Titan Industries has launched its largest World of Titan flagship store in Bangalore. The 3,000 sq ft store – built on Celebrations concept – offers value-added services such as gift vouchers, special gift packaging and a gift delivery service, apart from its loyalty programme. It also has 1,600 varied designs of watches and the Fastrack range of sunglasses on display. Billiards champion Pankaj Advani unveiled the store.
“Titan plans to open two more such stores in New Delhi and Mumbai in the next six months’ time,” Bhaskar Bhat, MD, Titan Industries, told Indiaretailing.com.
“The introduction of Celebrations concept store will enhance Titan’s brand identity in this most happening retail space,” Bhat added. In September 2006, the company launched the concept with its first World of Titan flagship store in New Delhi.
The Celebration concept has been incorporated in all the store display and merchandising gift boxes, mood visuals, staff uniform and carry bags, brought out by the colours related to the festivals in India – red and gold. The visual identity has been developed by Idiom, a Bangalore-based design house, while the store interiors have been conceived and executed by Deepak Puri & Associates.
“Dynamic changes sweeping the retail environment have made it imperative for Titan Industries to open large-format stores (which portray larger-than-life concepts) to drive image and build aspirational values for its brands,” Bhat concluded.
Titan Industries reported a turnover of Rs 2,136 crore for the year ended 2006-07.
