Aaron Boey, vice president and regional managing director, Levi Strauss Asia Pacific Division, will be a key speaker at India Fashion Forum 2008, to be held in Mumbai on January 29 and 30.
Aaron Boey is overall responsible for Levi Strauss & Co.’s affiliate businesses in Asia, excluding Japan. In this role, the country managers for Levi Strauss Hong Kong/China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, and Taiwan, and its distributor in Singapore report directly to him.
With an international career of 20 years, Aaron has worked with Asia’s top multinational industries in the consumer goods and retail segment that include Asia Pacific Breweries, Singapore Airlines, Philips Electronics, and Brown-Forman.
Prior to joining Levi Strauss APD, Aaron worked as the managing director for Asia with Jacuzzi Inc., an American company dealing in spa and hydrotherapy-related products. Tasked with the opportunity of growing the business in Asia, Aaron successfully repositioned the brand, expanded distribution in key markets, and redesigned the supply chain, resulting in double-digit annual revenue growth with very profitable margins.
