Vimal, the flagship brand that retails Reliance Industries Ltd’s apparel range, has opened its first exclusive retail store at Tollygunj area in Kolkata.
Spread over an area of 2,600 square feet, the store is a franchise format and will retail all premium ranges under the Vimal brand.
Speaking to media during the store launch, Anand Parekh, president, Reliance Textiles, said, “We have taken care in designing the store to ensure the right product display that provides a delightful experience to our customer.”
Commenting on Vimal’s expansion plans in the east, he added, “We see a huge potential for growth in the eastern markets. This store, the first of many, will serve to strengthen our commitment in the east market and promote our wholesale and retail business.”
He further added, “We at Vimal will work to live up to our brand belief; offering quality products at exciting prices, in an experience which is warm and friendly.”
The company will soon open five shop-in-shop stores in the city’s Kancharapura, Bhawanipur, Howrah, Barasat and Haldia areas. It will also offer its customers premium shopping experiences and enhanced facilities — such as custom tailoring and styling – through these newly redesigned Vimal exclusive stores.
