RPG Enterprises’ retailing arm Spencer’s Retail has tied up with world-renowned apparel brand Beverly Hills Polo Club (BHPC). This is the first ever entry of the American apparel major to India.
As a part of the latest partnership, Spercer’s will provide 12,000 square feet of retail space to BHPC by March 2009. Further, by this period, there will be three BHPC stand-alone stores and some shop in shop for BHPC, informed Sanjiv Goenka, vice chairman, RPG Enterprises.
The first standalone store is likely to come up in New Delhi by early next year, added Goenka.
To begin with, the first BHPC store has opened at Spencer’s Gurgoan outlet at MGF, Megacity Mall, Gurgoan. Soon, BHPC will be available in Spencer’s Hyper across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru, told Goenka.
Meanwhile, BHPC range will be available in a large number of Spencer’s stores, which are currently located in 66 cities across India, confirmed Goenka.
