FMCG company Henkel India’s MD A Satish Kumar is stepping down. He will be replaced by Jayant Singh, who is moving from GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH), Colombo, reports The Economic Times.
However, the report said that Kumar will continue to be on the board of Henkel and is expected to move to a larger role within the Group that includes the possibility of an overseas assignment.
Henkel’s mainstay products include Henko and Mr White detergents, Pril dishwasher, Margo soap and Fa deodorants, Margo, Moloy sandalwood soap, Mahabhringol hair oil and Tuhina skin care for sale. Other brands in Henkel India’s portfolio include Neem toothpaste and haircare brands Igora, Bonacure, Glatt and Palette.
